St Thomas à Becket School is a Church of England School situated in the village of Tilshead in a beautiful, rural location in the middle of Salisbury Plain. We offer a caring, family environment with small classes whilst providing an excellent education for all our children. We take children from 2 to 11 years.

St Thomas a Becket Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire. SP3 4RZ    Tel: 01980 620435

We are very proud that in March 2011 Ofsted recognised that children's behaviour was exemplary and that the outcomes for our pupils were outstanding, particularly in aspects of their personal development.

We aim to offer a safe, happy, secure environment where children develop a real love of learning, equipping them for life outside school. We are a school where every child really matters and where their progress both academically and socially is key to everything we do. We believe their education should be wide and varied.

Comments fro the Year 6 leavers July 2016

I have really enjoyed my time at this school. I've had chances to try so many things and am especially pleased that I was able to play in so many sports events.

I'm pleased that I have achieved the expected level in maths as I always found it hard!

The best things for me where the ICT activities when we made little moving models and going outside to get inspiration for poetry.

She is only able to do that because of the wonderful foundations built at St Thomas a Becket','Sending our child to your school was the best thing we could have done.'
