We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated, committed and effective teacher to join our happy and growing rural school on Salisbury Plain. This vacancy is for a teacher to teach a mixed class of year 3 & 4 children (predicted to be a class of 18).
We are looking for someone who: is an excellent, forward thinking class teacher who is creative and can make learning interesting and enjoyable; is passionate about teaching and learning and has an enthusiastic and positive approach to school life; recognises and builds upon the strengths of each and every child and inspires them to achieve high standards and realise their potential; has a good understanding of the National Curriculum in the Years 3 and 4 and the need to differentiate teaching within year groups; is committed to providing a caring, nurturing environment, reflected in our strong Christian ethos; displays excellent communication skills to the entire community, establishing strong foundations with children, parents, staff and other stakeholders; has experience meeting the needs of children with SEN and is able to positively promote inclusion; is a great team player who is willing to play an active part in our school that is at the heart of its community; models everything they expect and believe in.
